The past year of 2007 has been unbelievable for SISTERS IN SPIRIT. The amount of growth is way beyond any expectation. We have gained fourteen (14) new states in the organization. With the gain of fourteen new states, we now have a total of twenty-seven states to our credit including
We have appointed State Directors in twelve of the twenty-seven states and expect to add more in the near future. These ladies are working their hearts out to promote the positive image of SIS and the sport of motorcycling.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
There is an explosion on our SIS web site; over one million hits to the site in a very short period of time. Our biggest day on the web site was 5,322 hits in a 24 hour period. Our daily average of visitors to the site is in excess of approximately 3,000
hits per day. Hard to believe when a little over a year ago we hardly had a web site, now look at us.
Our SIS shirt designs number a dozen different kinds. We can thank Becky Robertson for this. She has devoted lots of time and imagination so we can all look sharp going down the road. If you have not taken the time to admire our collection of shirts, please do so. They our listed on the web site (www.sisriders.com) under SPIRIT GEAR! Take a look and let Becky know you appreciate what she has done.
One specific thing I am excited about is our retention of renewing member. We are retaining approximately 60% to 70%. In my opinion that is FANTASTIC! With this type of retention, members are having fun, making friends and totally enjoying themselves. We must be doing something right.
The SIS rally for 2007 will go down in history. It was very successful with members from fourteen states taking part in the event. Bobbie Smith from North Carolina RODE the farthest distance of over one thousand miles to attend the rally. One thing that got my attention was a comment that Jackie Wolf made about the group she hung out with at the rally. She referred to them as the TACO group; meaning the different states everyone was from in the group,
SIS has been very active across the
This past year a membership drive was put in place and has proven to be successful. If you have referred six people that have become members of the organization you are entitled to one year free membership. Let me know ASAP if you have been successful with recruiting new members. The guidelines are on the web site for the Spirit Drive program.
For the SIS organization to be successful it takes a team effort. When I say team, I am talking about every member. Each and every MEMBER has contributed to the organization in one way or another, as an officer and most important of all as a MEMBER. The membership in SIS is not your run of the mill type ladies, they are exceptional in every sense of the word and that is why we are successful.
We here at the home office take pride in the membership of SIS and want to express our sincere thanks for the successful year of 2007.
