Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to throw in that last Thursday (before the ice storm) I traveled with the PGR to Will Rogers Airport to escort Vietnam Veteran Ransbottom to Edmond to the funeral home. It was extremely windy. It was also my first trip down the interstate (I-35) [see how new I am].
As sad as the situation is for these rides, no matter what you have to go through to get there, wind, cold, boss having fits, etc., at some point in time each one you come to the realization "I'm glad I'm here, it was worth every bit of it." I think that point, this time, came when the family car went by and an elderly gentleman in the back had his arm out the window with a "thumbs up" signal to us as we stood attention for them pass at the beginning of the escort.

Congrats on the ride!! You know how I feel about big highways, so major kudos!!! Very Happy

We can't do enough for our Vets... that is pretty neat being able to help bring him home in honor.
