The Akdar Shrine Scooters are putting on an Iron Butt ride April 28-29 starting in Tulsa. 1000-1100 miles in 24 hours. If anyone is interested let me know and I can give you the specifics and contact information.

Is this flyer for the event you are speaking of?

Man I wish I was brave enough for something like that! If you were going an average of 65mph the ride would take you just over 15hrs!! not including breaks...

Good luck to all that participate! Very Happy

Just be careful! Fatigue is dangerous enough in a car I could'nt imagine on a bike. The people I have spoke to may get an 1 hour sleep within a matter of days of riding.

To me part of the joy of riding is taking my time and enjoying the scenery.

I would recommend you talk to someone who has done this before attemp;ting.

Be Safe!

Yes WildHorse, that's the flyer. Thanks for putting the link out there. I was going to send it to the people that were interested.

Embarassed I had no intentions of stepping on your toes. I usually open my mouth just to remove one foot and insert the other!

WildHorse, you didn't step on anyone's toes! I didn't mean to sound like you did. I'm sorry if I gave that impression.

Wink Your post was fine. I was just making sure to cover all bases. Sometimes things can come across the wrong way and I wanted to make sure you knew that is not what I had intended. Very Happy
