Once you are a registered member, it is important that you go to the "your account" section. Once there go to "your info".
You will need to fill out your real name, your e-mail address should already be there.
If you have a website of your own, you can put that address in the next box.
If you use any of the instant messaging systems, you can list your id in the next several boxes. This will allow people to contact you by them via the website.
Next please put your location.
After that you will need to select yes beside the "receive newsletter" option, as well as "show my e-mail address".
Yes next to "always show my signature".
You can set your timezone based on where you live. Oklahoma is -6 hours.
Now you can personalize your own signature in the space provided and add any additional info after that.
If you need to change your password, you can do it in the next set of boxes.
The avatar panel enables you to add a small image to your profile and it will show up in your forum or news posts. You can select one from the avatar gallery or you can upload your own from within the forum profile section. It must be no larger than 80x80 and 6kb. If you are unable to modify your desired image, you can send it to me and I will do it for you.
From within this menu, you can select the "b]messages[/b]" button and view private messages that have been sent to you from other members, or those that you have sent or you can send a private message from here.
You have access to your own journal via the journal button.
If you have any questions regarding this please post them in this thread, as it may help someone else.[ _________________ K. Kappes

WOW!! Thanks bunches Kevin! The site is awesome! And much thanks and appreciation to your family for sharing you with SIS during the holiday season. Hope you are able to have a somewhat relaxing 1st Week of the New Year - followed by many miles of riding in 2007! (Which, of course, will make this a very Happy New Year
