Hello from Maryland's Eastern Shore!
I just found site and thought I would say Hi! I am new to riding. Took MSF course in Oct last year and just got my bike on the road in Dec so I am really just getting started. I have a 1981 Honda CM400T. I am doing this on my own since I don't really know anyone who rides.
I am 47 and have three daughters- 18,16 and 9. I work full time for the United States Postal Service as a rural carrier.
I am looking forward to meeting other female riders.

Hi and Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on MSF and the new bike! I had to google (I love google ) and that is a nice bike. There are women with all different levels of experience on here so feel free to ask questions or share a learning experience!
Have a great day and keep the shiny side up!

Hello Rt1 maillady (hope i got that right)....welcome to the site. I hope you will consider becoming a member of this great association too as when you ride you will gather women riders to you and soon you will have a group in your area!
The chapter here in NJ has a female mail carrier too.....we plan to try a ride down your way at some point this summer...will let you know and perhaps you could meet up with us and join us.--tink _________________ ~~we ride under the same sun and rest under the same moon~~

Hey, hey, hey and welcome from good ol' Guthrie, Oklahoma. I am a born and raised Marylandian. However you are supposed to put that. Anyway, welcome to the site hope you enjoy it. These are a great group of ladies. And don't worry, I am a newby too. We all have to start somewhere. I think it is awsome that you are doing this on your own. Keep smiling and keep your chin up. |

Hello ! Welcome from PA. The summer before last we made a run to Deep Creek, Maryland. That was a beautiful ride. I'm hoping do it again this year. If we do, we will have to meet up and chatawhile. |

Hopefully , I will have the opportunity to meet some of you.
Would love to meet up if any of you are passing through my area.
The ride to Deep Creek Lake would be wonderful but I think that is about a five hour ride for me. A long ride for a newbie. Where are you riding from on that ride? |
