Just wanted to pass on this info in case anybody was looking for a new best friend... I got the below email from a humane society member...
Six black lab (mix) puppies were rescued out of the middle of the road on Saturday. PLEASE help us find them homes - otherwise, it's Animal Control - which means they only have 5 days. We've bathed them, sprayed them for fleas and wormed them.... but we can't keep them. They are currently in a kennel in my basement since I don't have a fence. I've lost count of the number of rescue groups that I've contacted, only to be turned down due to no room. Please check with every dog person you know to see if they need a puppy.
If anyone has any questions about the pups, they can email them to

how sweet of you
if i had the room i would come down and take them all
sad that someone would do that
here in the city about a month or 2 ago someone took a black lab pup, hurt her bad and left her for dead in a ditch!! she is now in a new home and doing really well
we have an american staffordshire terrier
we took him in because the people that we got hm from said that they didn't have time for him and when we got him you could see that there was some abuse! and he was not that well house broken! when ever he did pea or poo inside he would run and not want to be picked up! it took us about a month to house brake him!! now that he is 1 year and 3 months he looks like a full grown pit-bull and everybody dislikes him! he is so sweet and just wants to give love to everyone but because of the way he looks no one wants to even pet him! my boyfriend and i have done a lot of research on his breed and it is just sad the way they get treated!
it is just so sad to see people do this to any animal!
my cat we have him because the little girl brought him too me whne he was just a kitten and said here do you want this cat
i hate him, i don't want him anymore!! it broke my heart to hear her say that so i took him
he is 3 years old now and the best cat ever!!
can you i love animals?!?! |

Rose, I rescued a lil' pit bull about a year ago. She was pitiful... starved and full of parasites. The vet didn't know if she would live but she did! She went thru tick fever and demodex mange but now she is about 1.5 yo and 60lbs! Very shy girl but I love her to death! Good with cats too! I know owning a pitbull or amstaff can be kind of lonely with all the prejudices out there about the breed. Pitbulllovers.com is a great site and very positive which is great. I am a member of their forum but you have to buy the Pitbull Training Manual to get on the forum (I didn't know about the forum UNTIL I bought the book)
I like animals way more than people most of the time. We would live in a much better world if humans were as loyal and honest as animals are.

I'm curious how old this is. The reason I ask is because the exact same post w/picture came across a breeder forum that I post on about a week and a half to two weeks ago. Do you personally know the humane society that put it out? _________________ ~Leah~

Well, I think I might have been taken in AGAIN!!
I emailed the lady and it came back as undeliverable!
The pups were so cute, I am sure that they are fine. _________________ “We either make ourselves happy or miserable. The amount of work is the same.” – Carlos Castaneda

Rose, Tucker is a doll!!! Look at the face!!! I just wanna kiss 'em on the nose!
They are the best dogs, just got a bad rap due to bad owners.
I like the sunglasses, they match his coat and that last one shows him for the angel that I am sure he is! _________________ “We either make ourselves happy or miserable. The amount of work is the same.” – Carlos Castaneda

Man, don't people have anything better to do than start hoaxes? The puppies, it seems, started out as a real posting on Craigslist.com but then got turned into a hoax. http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/puppies.asp
Its a shame, but I guess I will start checking every email I get talking about a missing child or puppies.
