I may be a lil' bit jaded too. I thought the same thing as Tootz, that the guy probably had stole the dog to begin with. I sure wouldn't of just given him the reward without receiving some kind of background info and I love my dog a lot.

and, not to be harsh, but I wouldn't let one of my furry babies in the unfenced front yard without my company.

sad $500.00 wasn't enough for the guy... I would have gotten info also. Everything about him. and I would have nicely said how much I appreciated having the dog back, got his info and off-handedly mention the police might be talking to him to see if he might have info ... if only to see the reaction.

you all did notice that it was a MAN that took the car. right? now, if it were a woman who found the dog, she wouldn't have taken the car...would have just felt complete by helping someone in need...men, they're all the same they just look different...

Crazy! I would give almost anything for my pets but who in the world would, in their right mind, accept that kind of a reward- is this an example of the entitlement phenomenon that's sweeping peoples existence or what? Just crazy!

I call it total greed which is a shame that most people only think of themselves anylonger. What happened to the world?? Sad
I don't have any animals anymore, but I would offer anything too. Only pet I have is Phats and if he was lost I would hurry and move........ Laughing
