I love Oklahoma... I always have. I have been to other states and countries but to me no other state compares.
I am sure that ya'll feel the same way about your current state or previous state.... so tell me about or show me "How great is your state?!?!" _________________ “We either make ourselves happy or miserable. The amount of work is the same.” – Carlos Castaneda

Here is a small reason why I love it here... this is shots of part of my back yard and the b-e-a-u-tiful sky above!

Very cool photos Rose! I love the ocean but don't see it much anymore I started getting a lil' cold when I saw the snow but then I saw Tim Hortons and the thought of coffee warmed me right up!! _________________ “We either make ourselves happy or miserable. I guess I love it here in the cold country because we have the 4 seasons and it is so beautiful. Love lakes and rivers and we are 2 thirds under water with our 10,000+ lakes. I am going to try and attempt a picture taken at our favorite spot on the mississippi where we frequent on our rides. Have some fall pics but have to have Phats find them for me because he stuck them somewhere in the puter and can't find them.

I love the USA and you can see in the pictures posted here why I do.
California is my home state and I love it because the ocean and the sea practicly meet. The weather is mild, and there is always something to go and do. Cali is a great place to make money and prepare for retirement.
Oklahoma is probably going to be my retirement home, it is wide open and laid back there. _________________ VstarDiva |

I love my native state. Idaho is such a land of contrasts. You can go from the deserts in the southwest to the Rocky Mtns. in the east, to the canyons of the Snake River (think Evel Knievel) and Hells Canyon (the deepest in the US) to the "reach the sky" plateaus and farmland of the Clearwater River drainage, to the Canadian border and the lake they use for submarine training because it's so deep and so crystal clear.
The roads are made for motorcycles...lots of twisties and ups and downs and beautiful vistas.
